Ashworth's Ironstone china side plate. 19th century hand-painted Chinoiserie rubyLovely side plate in one of the more hard to find Ashworth's Chinoiserie patterns. Featuring peonies and many other flowers. This is heavy ironstone and early we think most likely from around 1870 80. This beauty is hand painted (every one is slightly different!) and has areas of gold gilding. In great condition for its age. We have quite a large quantity of this pattern in different sizes. this fabric has lots of metallic threads so shines beautifully when moved in the light

but we think it's silver plate rather than silver

The Tarot of Prague became a classic almost as soon as it was published
