Red Schooner Transit 3 NV (750 ml) OtherWinemaker Notes Red Schooner's new "Red Wine of the World," this red blend is sourced from famed regions of southern Australia, the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale. Consisting of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro with a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon, Transit 2 is bold yet nuanced, featuring scents and flavors of dark fruit, black pepper, leather and vibrant raspberries. The first notes on the nose are of crushed blueberries which then develop on to reveal an intriguing bitter-sweet character of crème de cassis with a touch of underlying parma violets

After de-stemming

Yellow-green and gold color

Altitude: 200 metres

followed by a 20-day fermentation

A hint of liquorice adds complexity to the finish

On the palate this wine is energetic from the start with tangy citrus
