A very good quality George III oval silver tray with twin  handles and gadrooned edges

and the main stems are enwrapped with the lion and eagle

taking their form from the Chinese earthenware pots

The whole standing on four scroll and leaf decorated feet

and from the large number of his mark entries and the frequency they are met on knifehafts and blades of his working period

The hallmarks to the body are unsurprisingly somewhat worn but still legible

These are both in excellent original condition with no signs of repair
