Thanks to its soft and adherent surface, Pastelmat card doesn't require the use of fixative between each layer, you are able to multiply the layers without a saturation effect, and blending is much more comfortable. Multiple layers of colours, flat tints, precise details, or even delicate and transparent veils are easy to achieve due to the characteristic 'fixing' of this paper.
