Crazy Quilt Long Coat with removable collar collarOne of a kind! This beautiful quilt was made circa 1860 1880. It is in amazing condition for its age (we were able to work around the broken fabrics). This quilt has beautiful calicos and mourning prints that are joined by beautiful chicken scratch hand work that is beautifully done. We made this beautiful quilt into our long duster coat with a removable shearling collar. This coat has hidden side seam pockets. We added four vintage inspired buttons

with two front pockets that have been lined with matching fabric to the under collar fabric

The exterior of the bag is made from a vintage Bemis feed sack and waxed canvas on the bottom to add durability
