The fatter portion of the thin piece will be the bottom of the tail light and the more sharper end will round out to the top of the tail light where the clear sits on the top that faces toward the sky
Use a damp cloth or alcohol cloth and wipe down the gas cap
Hold the overlay about 2-3 inches away and heat up the bump until you see it slowly wrapping around the bump
That point is when you stop heating it and start to lay the inner portion of the fog light
