An antique carved treen dog form match safe or vesta - a beautifully carved and finely detailed little begging wooden dog with glass eyes: the head hinged to form a lid - probably originally as an earlier snuff box which has had the bottom carved to act as a striker - total weight 19grms - overall dimensions 75 x 28mm c
