Bulk : Slice : Chiastolite, 12 Pieces, rough-polished box11This is a small flat of 12 Chiastolite slices. Each stone has been sliced to about 3 8" thickness and rough polished only. Each measures about 1 1 4" to 1 1 2". Chiastolite is a variety of Andalusite with a composition of AlSiO2. Its name is derived from the cross shaped inclusions of graphite; hence its name derived from the Greek work Chiastos. During the 16th century, these stones were distributed to pilgrims returning from Santiago de Campostela
