1975 Carrere Vielle Reserve Vintage Armagnac canadian whiskeyColour: Amber. Nose: Pine resin, then pured chestnuts, pine needles,stewed peaches, pinecones, black Corinth currants, a well taken care of humidor and prune juice. Mouth: Oh very good, prunes and peaches, stewed, black raisins, some dry coffee, lemon caviar both old PX and moscatel. Finish: Long, Comments: Just excellent.

quite tropical in fact

giving it a long list of regional synonyms

Let’s be honest

The finish is medium long

but sadly whichever way you look at it the distillery was to cease production in the mid-1970s

porridgy and lemony

grassy now (and orangey)

the whole being nicely peppery
